Our accounting team consists of over 25 experts, most of them masters in economics, certified accountants and accounting and financial managers. We are organized into teams that count up to several team members consisting mostly of senior accountants, and each team has an experienced manager whose role is additional quality control of our services and consulting clients in the field of accounting and tax issues.
Astra’s team is led by Tajana Barančić, a long-term business consultant for technology companies, primarily from IT sector. Tajana has 20+ years of experience in the field of accounting, finance, EU tenders, M&A transactions. She was long-term president of the Board of Directors of the umbrella IT association in the country “Croatian independent software exporters – CISEx” at the head of which she successfully lobbied for several changes in legal and tax regulations for the IT sector. Today she is the President of the Supervisory Board of CISEx.
Tajana is a columnist for the IT magazine Mreža for many years, and in her columns she covers topics from her domain expertise always from the aspect of IT companies. Also, since 2011, she has been preparing annual business analyses of the IT sector in Croatia.
Advisory services are provided by our sister companies from the group. Our consulting team, led by Tajana Barančić, is not big because our services are “tailor made” and we cherish the principle of quality over quantity. Our motivation and measure of success it is not a large number of clients, but the success of completed and implemented projects.
